So you've decided to invest in the market. You've heard that if you filter out stocks of companies that have an annual growth rate of 7%, a P/E ratio less than 15, low debt, and a profit margin greater than 10%, this will be a good long term investment.

How do you know? The real answer, well, if you have done your homework, no one knows.

But with the Stock4D powerful screener, you can test your strategies in the fourth dimension - time. Run a filter in the past, and see how stocks have performed. Change parameters and re-evaluate. Of course, the usual disclaimer applies - past performance cannot predict future performance.

But in my opinion, looking at historical data to test strategies is a good starting point for market research. Then the rest of the research is up to you.
